昨年度に引きつづき、国際バカロレア(以下IBと略記)の最終資格試験の試行テストを実施し、その結果を分析した。試行テストの実施方法は昨年度とほぼ同じで、科目は英語、生物、化学、物理、数学の5科目のSubsidiary LevelとHigher Level,用いた問題は各科目とも多肢選択式のpaper1とした。実施組織は、筑波大学、広島大学、神戸大学、東京工業大学、東京外国語大学、上越教育大学、山梨大学、国立教育研究所で、それぞれ大学1年生や高校、高専3年生を対象として行われた。今年度の結果は、60年8月に東京で研究会の際に持ち寄り、分析方法などを統一した。さらに10月には京都で第2回研究会を開催し、本研究の最終的なまとめ方などについて議論した。この際、IBのシンガポール地区本部の責任者J.Goodban氏 を招き、情報交換を行った。さらに11月に横浜で開かれたIBの試験方法等に関するワークショップに、高野、仲丸の2名が出席して、成績評価などの具体的方法についての情報を得るよう努めた。3年間にわたった本研究の結果は、その前1年間の準備研究の結果と合わせて、6冊の報告書(総集篇と各科目篇)にまとめ、関係方面に配布することにしている。主な結論は次の通りである。【◯!1】IBの教育課程は、日本の高校に比べて一般に内容も広く水準も高い。【◯!2】日本の大学入試のための受験勉強の有無が、IBの試験の成績への影響はかなり強い。【◯!3】逆に日本の大学入試に出題されない分野や型の問題の成績が著しく悪く、現在の高校教育の欠陷を示している。【◯!4】IBの試験問題は概してすなおなものが多い。反面不備な問題や不適当と思われるものも含まれている。

The results of this study during the past three years are compared with the results of the preparatory study conducted during the previous year, and the results of the six volumes of reports (comprehensive articles for each subject) are distributed in terms of relationships.
