The main theme of this study was to analyze a huge volume of data filed in the data base on fatigue strength of metallic materials, and to compile a book titled Fatigue Design Reliability Hand Book. Continuing from the previous year, the analysis of the data was intensively performed also in this year by the research group members, and the compilation of the hand book with the following five chapters was completed:Chapter 1 Contents of the data base and procedure of analysisChapter 2 Analysis of the data on static strengths of materialsChapter 3 Statistical properties of fatigue strengths of individual materialsChapter 4 Effects of important factors on fatigue strengths of materialsChapter 5 Reliability analysis of fatigue strengths of materialsIn chapter 1, the content of the data base, its error check and the construction of the secondary data base were explained as preliminary works, and stand points of the data analysis were clarified. In chapter 2, the data on the static strengths of materials were retrieved from the data base, and their statistical properties were analyzed. In chapter 3, the basic fatigue strength characters of materials obtained under standardized test conditions were analyzed and plotted on P-S-N diagrams for respective specifications of materials. In chapter 4, the correlation of fatigue strength parameters with static strengths were examined, and the effects of mean stress, types of stress, notches, surface treatment and temperature on fatigue strengths of materials were intensively analyzed and summarized. In chapter 5, distribution characteristics of fatigue lives indfinite life range and of fatigue limits were analyzed, and recommendations to reliability design application were summarized.The hand book with the above content will be issued in the near future.
本研究的主要目的是分析金属材料疲劳强度数据库中的大量数据,并编写《疲劳设计可靠性手册》。继上一年之后,研究小组成员在今年也集中进行了数据分析,并完成了以下五章手册的编写:第一章数据库的内容和分析步骤第二章材料静强度数据的分析第三章单个材料疲劳强度的统计特性第四章重要因素对材料疲劳强度的影响第五章材料疲劳强度的可靠性分析第一章数据库的内容,对误差检验和二级数据库的建立作了初步说明,阐明了数据分析的观点。第二章从数据库中检索了材料静强度数据,并对其统计特性进行了分析。第三章分析了标准化试验条件下材料的疲劳强度基本特征,并绘制了相应规格材料的P-S-N图。第四章研究了疲劳强度参数与材料静强度的相关性,重点分析和总结了平均应力、应力类型、缺口、表面处理和温度等因素对材料疲劳强度的影响。第五章分析了有限寿命范围内疲劳寿命和疲劳极限的分布特征,总结了可靠性设计应用的建议,上述内容的手册将于近期发行。
