A study of cross-sectional anatomy in neonatal ane fetal period as a fundamental knowledge for two-dimensional echocardiography

二维超声心动图是一种有用的无创诊断先天性心脏病的方法。随着新生儿重症先天性心脏病非插管急诊手术的增多，对畸形心脏的详细信息和正确信息提出了更高的要求。我们用冰冻切片技术制作了新生大鼠心脏的多个横断面，并与人类新生心脏的二维超声心动图图像进行了比较。用这种方法识别心脏内和心脏周围结构的每一部分。然后，我们提出了用同样的技术识别大鼠胎心横切面的方法。因此，在新生儿和胎儿心脏中进行详细的解剖学鉴定是可能的。1例完全性心内膜垫缺损者经宫内二维超声心动图确诊。

Two-dimensional echocardiography is a useful method for noninvasive diagnosis of congenital heart disease. As the number of emergency operation without catheterization for new born patients with severe congenital heart disease has been increased, the detail and correct information about the malformed heart is required. We compared multiple cross-sections of the new born heart of rat, which was made using a frozen section technique, with the image of two-dimensional echocardiography in human neonates. Each portion of intra and peri-cardiac structure was identified by this method. Then we advanced to identify cross-section of fetal heart of rat by using the same technique. As a results, detailed anatomical identification has been possible in a neonatal and fetal heart. A case with complete endocardial cushion defect was correctly diagnosed by two-dimensional echocardiography in utero.
