研究を効率的に進めるため、大きくつぎの2班に分かれ、適宜会合を持ち討議、打合せを行って、研究内容のチェックあるいは整合を計った。(A班)町田,古谷,中村,奥西ーー主として古文書記録,崩災の調査資料を整理する一方、地形解析を加えて著名崩災の全国的なカタログ作りを行なった。その数は200例を越えるが、本報告ではその大部分を添付資料として加えた。以上の外、代表例として十二湖(青森県),葉山(神奈川県),倉並(長野県)をとりあげ、現地調査を実施し課題の前半部分を追究した。つぎにB班の研究との関連性に重点を置いて、上記の資料に基づき、崩壊の発生機構とそれが拡大して、いわゆる大規模崩災と呼ばれるようなものに発展する過程を追究した。これについても代表的流域をとりあげ、その調査結果を検討材料に加えた。(B班)新藤,太田,沖村,北岡ーー山地における大規模な土木工事によって得られた水理地質資料,湧水記録を整理し、山体地下水の特質を明らかにする一方、特定試験地を設定し、山体地下水の存在場の特質,山体地下水の動態を明らかとした。また崩災の素因としての山体の不安定ポテンシャルを水質特性のうえから類推することの可能性について検討した。上記の研究のために設定された試験地はつぎのとおりである。(1)第三紀丘陵地ー多摩丘陵(東京)(2)花崗岩山地(六甲)(3)花崗岩山地(三河)(4)火山性堆積岩地域(別府)、以上の各試験地において、貫入試験あるいはボーリングを実施し、上層構造を明らかにするとともに、これらを観測井として仕上げ、地下水位の変動特性を追った。また多数地点において地中水分の動き、また流出量を観測し、課題の後半部分を追究した。最終報告では上記A班,B班での成果を総合し、総括的結論を導いた。報告書は現在印刷中である。

The research rate of progress, big (Class A) Machida, Furutani, Nakamura, Okushi-ji, Ancient Records, Collapse Survey Data Compilation, Topographic Analysis, and Nationwide Famous Collapse Survey. The number of cases is 200, and most of the data in this report are added. The first half of the project was investigated in the case of twelve lakes (Aomori Prefecture), Hayama (Kanagawa Prefecture) and Kuranami (Nagano Prefecture). The research and development process of large-scale disasters and disasters is investigated. The river basin represented by the survey results is added to the survey materials. (Class B) Shinto, Ota, Okimura, Kitaoka-mountain area large-scale earthworks to obtain hydrogeological data, water inflow records to organize, mountain groundwater characteristics to clarify the side, specific test site setting, mountain groundwater existence field characteristics, mountain groundwater dynamics to clarify the side. The causes of the collapse and the instability of the mountain are discussed in detail. On the record, the study set up a trial ground. (1)Tertiary-system hilly land-Tama hills (Tokyo)(2) Granite mountains (Roku)(3) Granite mountains (Miho)(4) Volcanic accumulation rock area (Beppu), the above test sites, penetration test sites, water logging, and dynamic characteristics of groundwater levels. The water movement and outflow in most places were measured, and the second half of the project was investigated. The final report includes a summary of the results of Class A and Class B and a summary of the conclusions. The report is now in print.
