项目摘要

The main item of the present project is to grasp synthetically the status qua of the research activity in the field of quantum electronics, to arrange the research items and to help the International Quantum Electronics Conference (IQEC '88) to be held in Japan. For laser applications, shorter wavelength lasers and being developed. In Nov. 1987,the International Symposium on Short Wavelength Lasers and their Applications was held at Osaka University, and the research status qua in the world was investigated.As one of laser energy applications, the research on laser isotope separation is done at "the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (IPCR)"for MLIS, and at the Institute for Laser Technology and the Institute of Laser Engineering, Osaka University for ALVIS. Laser adequate for uranium isotope separation have been developed and the fundamental process in the isotope separation has been investigated. General ideal design for laser isotope separation system was already done.To improve the quality (high power, long lifetime) of the excimer laser, which is important for the industrial applications of material processing, is investigated at the Institute for Electrical Technology, IPCR and Keio University and the fruitful results were obtained.High quality semiconductor laser was developed at Tokyo University, and the control of oscillation mode has been made great progress. As its applications, the researches on optical signal process (Osaka Univ.),and generation of super slab wavelength laser (Osaka Univ.),were presented in CLDO.Development of high resolution spectroscopy were done at Tokyo Univ. and Kyoto Univ., and its application to nuclear spectroscopy can be expected.In addition to the above, the excimer laser application to medical (Kinki Univ.), observation of fast relaxation phenomena in moleculars (Institute for Molecular Science), the oscillation of XUV laser (Osaka Univ.) have been made great progress.
本课题的主要内容是综合掌握量子电子学领域的研究活动现状,安排研究项目,为即将在日本召开的国际量子电子学会议(IQEC '88)提供帮助。对于激光应用,更短波长的激光器正在开发中。1987年11月,在大坂大学召开了短波长激光及其应用国际研讨会,调查了世界上的研究现状。作为激光能量应用之一,激光同位素分离的研究在MLIS的“物理和化学研究所(IPCR)“、激光技术研究所和激光工程研究所进行,大坂大学ALVIS。研制了适合铀同位素分离的激光器,并对同位素分离的基本过程进行了研究。激光同位素分离系统的总体设计已经完成,为了提高系统的质量,在材料加工的工业应用中,准分子激光器的高功率、长寿命是重要的,在电气技术研究所、IPCR和庆应义塾大学进行了研究,并取得了丰硕的成果。东京大学开发了高质量的半导体激光器,振荡模式的控制也取得了很大的进展。作为其应用,光信号处理的研究(大坂大学),和超级板条波长激光器的产生(大坂大学),高分辨率光谱学的发展是在东京大学和京都大学完成的,并且可以预期其在核光谱学中的应用。除上述之外,准分子激光在医学中的应用(近畿大学),分子中的快速弛豫现象的观察(分子科学研究所),XUV激光器的振荡(大坂大学)已经取得了很大的进步。
