In an qducational treatment for the emotionally disturbed children, the primary requitement is to drastically recover their disturbed mentalities. For their recovery, movement education, which lay stress on perceptual-moter performance and playing freely is considered effectual. In order to examine its effectiveness and develop better programs, some activities were practiced to 10 subjects, whose ages were from 7 to 11,once a week for one and a half year. Contact with unconditional acceptance was used to the children who had not formed basic confidence yet and contact with control and instructions was used to the ones who had formed it to a certain extent. The result are as follows: 1. In the given program which consist of basic exercise circuit, body-image movements or various types of gamesd etc, three chilfren who could follow instructions showed aquisition of motor skills and cognitive development. On the other hand, tough other children who could not follow them did not show such progress, they built up their basic confidence by being allowed not to obey instructions. 2. In free play, 8 children sufficiently enjoyed the activities and showed reliance on the staffs of this study first and, later, they were friend with each other. 3. Children's movements in activities were in corresponce with emotinal condition of their patents. 4. It is consideres that there is order in treatments for the children with emotinal disturbance. It is effective to allow them to be free to play ot do activitied without any instructions in sace of children's having undeveloped confidence. It is not until they can gain confidence that movement education programe effectively works on them.
