本研究では, 産構審・情報化人材対策小委の中間取りまとめ(昭和62年4月)が出されたことを踏まえて, 大学における情報技術(処理)教育の最適化の問題に焦点を絞り, 重点的な研究討議を行った. その結果, 情報裁術(処理)教育に関して, 主として次の9項目に亘る重要な研究課題が指摘され, 今後, 総合研究(A)において集中的に研究を進める必要が生じた.1.2000年時点におけるソフトウェア技術者の需給予測を行うためのモデリングに関する研究を行い, その予測モデルに基づき需給予測を行う.2.「拠点大学方式」の導入により, 情報技術教育の先駆的なモデル・プランを有する大学を重点的に育成し, それを通じて全体のレベルアップを計る.3.現行の大学の情報技術教育のカリキュラムを根本的に見直し, その刷新改善を計る(例えば現状の数値計算主体からシステム構築主体への転換等).4.初等中等教育段階における情報(コンピュータ)リテラシー教育の充実強化を計る(情報教育の基幹となるべき教員の資質向上の問題を中心に).5.昨今の日米ソフト摩擦に対応して, 大学における創造的にして指導的なソフトウェア技術者(就中システムエンジニア)の育成方法を検討する.6.情報の総合的・複合的な性格に鑑み, 大学の情報技術教育の中に社会科学的アプローチ(例えば情報政策科学,情報行動科学等)を取り入れる.7.高度情報化社会に適応する人材を養成するために, 大学の一般教育課程で, 文科系の学生に対しコンピュータ操作を含めた情報(処理)教育を施す.8.テレトピア構思等による地域開発に当たって不可欠な情報技術者を養成し, かつ, それらの技術者を地域に定着させるための方途を見出す.9.社会人技術著の受け入れ体制を整備するとともに, 一定条件を備えた情報技の大学院レベルの企業教育を学位授与コースとして認定する(アクレディテーション・ボードの設置を含む).

This study focuses on the optimization of information technology (processing) education in universities and conducts research discussions on key issues.
