Studies on immunopathological, epidemiological analysis and control of schistosomiasis japonica in the endemic area around Tung-ting lake.

1988年开展了环洞庭湖病区日本血吸虫免疫病理、流行病学分析和防治的联合研究。1. 选择(a)疫区高流行期、(b)疫区低流行期和(c)疫区控制期3种血吸虫病疫源地进行研究。选择米罗城、满塘、临乡地区作为试点，分别对应(A)、(B)、(C)。对上述疫源地人间和病媒蜗牛流行病学现状进行了比较分析。2. 对中国和日本患者的肝癌及肝硬化相关免疫病理资料进行分析。澄清了该疾病是否是原发性肝癌的病因的问题仍然没有定论，但该疾病与肝硬化的密切关系显然是显著的。3. 针对血吸虫病病媒生物防治，在血吸虫病流行区进行了血吸虫原生寄生虫的检测试验。目前正在对发现的一种纤毛虫的致病性进行研究。

Joint research on immunopathological, epidemiological analysis and control of schistosoma japonica in the endemic area around Tung-ting lake has been commenced in 1988. 1. The selection of three kinds of schistosomiasis foci such as (a) an area in high prevalent phase, (b) one in low prevalent phase and (c) one under controled phase for our researches. Milo-City, Mantang and Linxiang areas have been selected as pilot foci corresponding to (A), (B) and (C), respectively. Some comparative analysis of present epidemiological situations for humans and vector snails were made among above foci. 2. Immunopathological data of hepatic carcinoma and liver cirrhosis related to the disease were analyzed on the patients both in China and in Japan. And it was clarified that the question whether the disease is a cause of primary carcinoma of liver or not is still inconclusive but the close relation between the disease and liver cirrhosis is clearly significant. 3. Aiming at the biological control of vector sanils, the detection of protozoan parasites of snail was tried in the endemic area of schistosomiasis. A kind of ciliate found is now being examined on its pathogenesity.
