Characterization of Air Pollutants and Comparison of them Between Kofu-Keihin Districts and Sichuan Basin

1988年5月，山梨大学(Yamanashi University)校长小德、福泽、岩城和丰岛(总务长)访问了成都科技大学，与协作组成员和包括校长在内的主要工作人员讨论了合作工作的详细时间表和推进情况。还进行了一些调查和样本采集。此后，历时三年，每年在日本和中国召开两次研讨报告会，其中包括1988年11月和1989年7月在云南理工大学、1989年10月在中大、1990年9月在中大、1990年12月在中大。还包括对千叶和川崎地区的大型铁厂和大型发电厂的空气污染预防措施和设施进行专题调查，以及对日本先进的分析仪器进行专题调查，并对庆新-科孚地区和四川省的污染和设施等进行了普查。每一次都有三到四个人参观会议所在的大学。在这三年中，进行了31项研究，其中包括X射线分析(包括使用显微衍射仪)、污染物和酸雨的IR或GC-MS分析和化学分析，以及对日本和中国污染的调查。除了开发新的分析方法外，还获得了包括污染现状在内的许多信息，特别是在中国身上。作品的一部分由Fukasawa提出，并于1989年9月在波兰举行的国际会议上获奖。

In May, 1988, the president Koide, Fukasawa, Iwatsuki and Toyoshima (the manager of general affair) from Yamanashi university (Y. U.) visited Chengdu University of Science and Technology (CUST) , where the detail schedule and promotion of the co-operative work were discussed with the members of the cooperative work and the main staffs including the president of CUST. Some investigation and sample collection were also done. After the above, the meeting for presentation of the studies and discussion have been held in Japan and China twice every year, including the above, during the three years, as follows : in November, 1988 and July, 1989 at Y. U., in October, 1989 at CUST, in September, 1990 at Y. U. and in December, 1990 at CUST. It also included special investigation on preventive measures against air pollution and facilities in big iron works and a big power plant situated in Chiba and Kawasaki districts, and on advanced analytical apparatus in Japan, adding to general investigation on the pollution and facilities etc. in Keihin-Kofu area and Sichuan Province. Each time, three or four persons visited the university where the meeting was held. During the three years were done p resentations and lectures of 31 studies, which consisted of X-ray analyses including use of a microdiffractometer, IR or GC-Mass analysis and chemical analysis of the pollutants and acid rain, and also the investigation of the pollution in Japan and China. In addition to development of new analytical methods, a lot of information including the present status was obtained on the pollution especially in China. A part of the work was presented by Fukasawa and awarded in an international conference held in September, 1989 in Poland.
