项目摘要

本研究の内容は、大別して『吾妻鏡』諸本の調査収集とその研究の二つになる。諸本の調査収集については、前年度の収集に加えて『東鏡古本纂をはじめ東鑑部類・東鑑要目集成を集めることができた。諸本の調査に関しては、以下の図書館や文庫を訪れ調査に当った。天理図書館・京都府立図書館や宮城・岩手・福島各県立図書館,米沢・八戸各市立図書館,蓬左文庫・国文学資料館である。これらの調査を踏まえて『吾妻鏡』諸本の全体を見通し、相互の関係や個々の本の位置づけについては、現在、部分的なまとめが行われている。研究の中心である本文の吟味と読解については、前年度までの仕事を継続して行ない、年度中九回の研究会を開催し、巻十一までと巻十四・十七とについて注釈と訓読文の原稿化をほぼ終えた。昨年度までと比べると、吉川本との対校による本文の吟味と、それによる前年度までの修正作業が新たに加わり、進捗の度合いが鈍ったことは否めない。国史大系本に拠っていた読みを吉川本に変えたことによって、対校しながらの読みになり、問題が多く作業が複雑になったのである。しかしながら、それも巻一の訓読文の整備を試みることによって大きく解決への見通しを得ることができた。
