项目摘要
All place names appeared in 4, 422 sheets of 1 : 25, 000 topographic map of Japan are listed by means of computer. Place names are nearly 400, 000 in number. The list consists of place name in Chinese character (Kanji), place name in Japanese alphabet (Kana), town, prefecture, sap name, longitude and latitude. This gazetteer will be useful, together with previously published gazetter based on 1 : 200, 000 maps involving 120, 000 records, in locating place names on base sap for biogeographical study, especially in drawing distribution maps by computer. This will also be useful in cultural science for numerical treatment of place names.
本文用计算机列出了日本1：25000地形图4422幅中的地名。地名将近40万个。该清单包括汉字地名、日文地名、城镇、县、地名、经度和纬度。这份地名录与以前出版的地名录一起，将有助于在sap数据库中查找地名，供地理学研究使用，特别是有助于用计算机绘制分布图。这也将有助于文化科学对地名进行数字处理。
