项目摘要

1.本研究は、かって小学校時代に優れた社会科授業を受けた児童が、高校や大学に進学したり、あるいは実社会に出たとき、自己の受けた社会科授業をどのようにとらえているか追跡調査し、その社会科授業経験が、それぞれの被教育者のなかにどのように位置づいているか解明しようとしたものである。2.あわせて、小学校社会科と中学校社会科との共通性と異質性を解明し、小・中・高一貫のための中学校社会科授業の改善策を試みてみた。今回の研究では、予算と時間の関係で1の後半部分の解明にはいたっていない。1については、学校ぐるみで社会科研究を長年やってきた学校(中心的授業者)の卒業生並びにその児童が進学した中学校の同一学年すべてに郵送によるアンケ-ト調査(1020名)を実施した。目下回収率は192名で、分析中。2の研究では、小・中学校社会科授業を分析しながら、一般化しうる中学校社会科授業を「意見形式」にもとめて授業実践を試みた。1のアンケ-ト調査を一部項目について中間集計(優れた授業経験者30名-A・一般の社会科授業経験者59名-B)してみると、「好きだった教科」・「嫌いだった教科」として社会科をあげる者はA・Bの間においてほとんど差がみられなかった。しかし「今野学習や仕事にとって、意味のある教科・活動」について問うてみると、社会科を選ぶ者がAでは56%にたいしてBは37%である。逆に、算数は23%と37%である。その理由として「なぜかと考える力を養った」をあげる者は56%と43%、「広い視野」を指摘するものは53%と30%であった。社会科授業経験が生きていることが推察できる。今後、分析と共に被教育者への面談調査も加え、個人内における授業経験の意味も解明したい。

This study focuses on the following aspects: social studies teaching in elementary school, college and university; social studies teaching in college and university; social studies in college; social studies 2.
