项目摘要

未開拓な平安時代末期の百首の内、とりわけ校本の作成の待たれている為忠百首・久安百首等の伝本を、今回の補助金によって、数多く写真紙焼等で収集することができた。一本一本が大部なものであるから、たいへん有益であった。そして善本と思われるものを底本とし、両百首とも、原稿化し、収集した諸本により校本作成に着手することができた。なお何人かの大学院生などとともに、内容の検討にも入った。とくに、ユニークな百首でもある為忠百首、また後の応制百首に大きな影響を与えたと思われる久安百首について、今回の補助金によってその基礎的研究が進捗し、近い将来、その特色をまとめ、作成した校本とともに公表したいと考えている。更に、久安百首の系統を引く平安最末期から鎌倉期にかけての百首の伝本をも、比較研究のため資料を集めたものがあり、影響史を軸に、百首和歌の歴史的考察を加えてみた。巨視的な和歌の流れ、王朝和歌から中世和歌への展開において多く成立した百首和歌は、題詠という方法を創作の中心とするが、その題詠の考察も百首歌研究に当たって重要である。とりわけ歌題を多く集めた明題抄・明題部類といった写本・板本の類も、各地の百首伝本を採訪した折りに多く写真紙焼によって集めることができた。貴重な収穫といえる。最近、平安末期を中心とする和歌研究論文が、次第に多くなっているが、複写等によって、それら参考文献を多く収集することができた。これらの収穫を、王朝和歌から中世和歌へ、という歴史的視野の中におさめて、今後その意義づけを行いたいと思っている。
