项目摘要

The Project has aimed at these three points : (1) Each of researchers makes solid footing to clarify the characteristics of the theory of time in his own field. (2) Researchers promote to share their academic fruits mutually and endeavor to exploit the inter-disciplinary field. (3) The head of the project tries to find out the general framework of the thought of time in the East and to get a perspective on its signification in the present world. In conclusion, we could almost attain the purposes as a whole.Main results of this project on the personal level are as follows : Tsuchida studied on two important legends in the Mahabharata with focus on the thought of destiny. Miyamoto analyzed units of time in the Mansumrti and considered the meaning of one of basic ideas in Indian Philosophy, "The universe is anadi (having no beginning). "Tanizawa surveyed Bhartrhari's notion of time as a sort of actuator. Kato investigated the theory of the existence of dharmis (fundamental elements) in the three times (past, present and future) in reference to the concept of anudaya (psychological attachment). Kimura clarified Fa-tsang's philosophy of time in Huayen Buddhism and pointed out its historical significance. Takemura studied on Dogen's theory of time frequently compared with some of western philosophies and made an important aspect of his thought clear. Hachiya traced the development of the ideas of time in China and analyzed Seng-chao's notion of time in the light of it. Sakabe considered Bergson's conception of 'multiplicite' in his works and found many effective clues to construct the model of time-space for the comparative study of philosophies east and west.

本课题的研究目标主要有三点：（1）每个研究者都要立足于自己的研究领域，明确时间理论的特点。(2)促进学术成果的共享，奋进开拓跨学科领域。(3)项目负责人试图找出东方时间思想的总体框架，并对其在当今世界的意义进行透视。本研究在个人层面上的主要成果如下：土田以天命思想为中心，对《摩诃婆罗多》中的两个重要传说进行了研究。Miyamoto分析了Mansumrti中的时间单位，并考虑了印度哲学中一个基本概念的含义，“宇宙是anadi（没有开始）。谷泽研究了巴特哈里将时间视为一种执行器的概念。加藤以“无垢”（心理依恋）的概念为参照，研究了三个时代（过去、现在和未来）中存在的佛法（基本要素）的理论。木村先生阐明了华严宗法藏的时间哲学，并指出其历史意义。竹村对道元的时间观进行了深入的研究，并将其与西方的一些哲学思想进行了比较，从而明确了道元时间观的一个重要方面。八谷先生追溯了中国时间观念的发展，并以此分析了僧肇的时间观念;坂部先生在其著作中考虑了柏格森的“多重性”概念，为构建东西方哲学比较研究的时空模型找到了许多有效的线索。
