最終年度である平成4年度は、まず平成3年度に実施した第2回調査の分析を行った。分析の中心は、生活意識・社会意識に関する質問項目であり、既存の調査の結果などとの比較により、くり返し調査の2回目の時点におけるサンプルの有効性を検討した。さらに、今年度は第3回目の調査も実施して1回目から3回目までの回答をすべて含むデータセットを作成し、これと回答状況(有効回答、返送なし、転居など)のデータを結合することによって、詳細な分析を行った。分析の結果から、同一サンプルにくり返し調査を行うモニター・システムでは、比較的安定したサンプルが得られることがわかった。しかし、質問内容の影響や調査間隔の問題、転出サンプルの扱い方など、3回の調査では十分解明できなかった問題もあり、今後もさらにデータを集める必要があると思われる。
