研究計画に従い今年度は主に家族の中の子供の問題に取り組んだ。今日,子供の地位及び家族の機能を大きく変えた第一の要因は、「産業化」である。かつての子供は親戚や地域社会の中で教育され、家族の中で責任ある親子関係を確立することができた。今日の子供は夫婦の自己満足の中に閉じこめられている。子供を産むか否かは夫婦が決めることであり、墮胎は予算外の費用回避の手段となり、夫婦は自分達だけのために生き生活の楽しみを望んでいる。このような状況において子供は夫婦を父母に変える経済的社会的費用,女性を妻・母・教育者に義務づける心理的費用の対象として考えられている。第二の要因は1975.7.11の「離婚法」である。この法制確立後フランスの離婚は増加を続け、10年間で約2.5倍の件数を示している。女性の大幅な就労,避妊の普及による若者の同棲,自由な男女交渉などの新しい男女関係の形態も現われた。婚外出生率も全体の20%を超えるまでになった。親の愛情の欠如,無関心が、本来健康な子供達と非行・家出・麻薬・自殺・オ-トバイによる事故死などの問題行動に走らせている。とくに離婚家庭の子供には、幼児に言語遅滞、情緒不安定,小学生に学業の失敗・読み書き計算の習得不十分,中学生に怠学・登校拒否が見られるように、離婚はその子供にとって外傷的事件と考えられる。産業化社会における家族についての統計的資料に基く客観的解明,家族形態についての多元的分析に基く家族動揺の期間,ラディカルな家族と社会化を持続する家族の特貭,多様な家族の存立の動向,家族集団の安定の個人的・社会的意義などが解明されなければならないが、これらの問題については教育学者,心理学者、社会学者の研究成果に依りながら綜合的接近を継続する。
