项目摘要

今年度の研究の中心は、儒教式祖先祭祀および親族結合についてのインテンシヴな調査を実施したことである。大阪市にある「在日光山金氏親族会」は、新羅王子興光を始祖とする韓国における名門一族で、済州島出身で大阪在住の180余世帯の子孫が形成する親族組織である。他の親族会と異なる本親族会の特質は、大阪近郊生駒山麓に大規模な共同墓地を有し経営していることである。また共同墓地での物故者合同慰霊祭のほか親睦、記念、本国宗親会との交流など活発な事業を展開している。研究代表者は関心を共にする複数の研究者とともに、この親族会全メンバ-へのアンケ-ト調査を実施した。内容は、年齢、職業、収入、家族構成、渡日歴、団体所属、本国とのコミュニケ-ションなどの社会的特性、家庭での親先祭祀、葬儀のありかた、建墓、祈祷・占い、日本の寺社への参拝、宗教団体所属などの宗教行動、および親族会への関与など68項目にわたるものである。そのデ-タは整理と集計を完了し、内容の分析作業を進めているが、特に注目される点をいくつかあげてみよう。(1).在日社会においても儒教的祖先祭祀は民族文化および民族意識を維持してゆくための中心的機能を担っていること。(2).「孝」すなわち敬親崇祖のモラルは在日の人々の倫理意識の核心をなすこと。(3).儒教に対立する巫俗信仰も、在日社会で特に婦人層を中心に生き続け、生活上の危機的緊張処理の機能を果たしていること。(4).葬式における日本仏教および日常的な寺社参拝は習俗として在日社会にも浸透しているが、親族会メンバ-に関してはその倫理的、民族的意識の構成を大幅に変容させるものとはなっていない。(5).一般的な指摘される在日韓国・朝鮮人の日本への社会的・文化的同化の趨勢の中で、親族会組織は民族文化を保持し新たな発展を模索する集団的な核になる可能性をもつこと。
