History of solid state physics in Japan after the foundation of Institute for Solid State Physics

Temporary catalogues of "Yasukochi Documents" and of "Tables of Molecular Integrals in Manuscript by Kotani-Amemiya-Simose" preserved by "Archival Library" of ISSP (Institute for Solid State Physics) have been made up.It has been ascertained from a statement of Doi's Diary included in "Doi Uzumi Documents" preserved by The Physical Society of Japan that the first day of "Butsurigaku-Rinkokai (Colloquium for Physics)" was18 March 1926, an epoch making date at the dawn of quantum mechanics in Japan.It has been shown that there is a serious difference between Korean and Japanese understanding of the history of the Prototype Meter No.10 and the Prototype Kilogram No.39 exported to Korea from Japan after World-War II, and an essay on this issue was published.Essays on the "Archival Library" of ISSP and on topics in the history of solid state physics, and a book At the Dawn of the Quantum Mechanics in Japan A Document of an Interview with Prof. A.Suzuki, One of the Organizers of the "Butsurigaku-Rinkokai (Colloquium for Physics)" were published.
