1.社会科の授業改善のための仮説実験授業と調査(1)前年度に引き続き、小学校2校(3年、4年),中学校2校(1年2年)において実験授業,授業分析を実施した。今回の主目的は,コミュニケーション行動を活発化させるための授業方法の研究であり,授業案作成の段階で仮説を吟味し,その実験授業を記録・分析した。授業記録は6名で行い、ビデオカメラ2台による映像記録とフィルター方式に基づく速記録を併用し,抽出児の記録も行った。(2)仮説実験授業に対する児童・生徒の行動の契機や意識,その個人差をとらえるためアンケート調査を実施し分析した。2.仮説実験授業の分析とその結果(1)児童・生徒の主体的学習は,子供同士のコミュニケーション行動の活発化と深く関わって発展すると考えられるが,現実の授業は教師対子供の関係が多く,子供同士のそれは少ない。学習形態を一斉から小集団に変える,作業的学習活動の導入などで子供同士の関係が強化される。小集団の人数の上限は,5名までと考えられる。(2)コミュニケーション行動は個人差が大きく,性格や人間関係が深く関わっている。小集団の構成や活動については,この点への十分の配慮が必要であるが,学習に際しては,デイベートや討論ができる小集団に育てなければ,社会認識を深めることとコミュニケーション行動は結びつかない。この課題については,さらに検証が必要である。(3)コミュニケーション行動の態様について小学生・中学生を比較すると,一般に前者は拡散的であり活発である。しかし,学習課題や発問を十分に吟味し,小集団活動を効果的に導入すると,中学生の活動もかなり活発になり,しかも集中的である。社会認識の深まりも,小学生より強く見られる。授業改善のポイントの一つがここにある。

1.
