古高ドイツ語ヴァレンツ辞典を作成するための現在までの作業実施経過報告.1.古高ドイツ語テキストの整理.古高ドイツ語時代(6ー11世紀)のテキスト中どのテキストが古高ドイツ語ヴァレンツ辞典作成の基礎資料となり得るかを調査し.その結果,ある程度文献学的研究の進んでいるテキストとして「オトフリ-トの福音書」,「タチア-ン」,「ノトカ-」,「イシド-ル」を選定した.2.用例の収集.これらの全テキストをコンピュ-タに入力,同時に古高ドイツ語に置いてどのテキストにでも出現可能な動詞を,Schutzeichelの「古高ドイツ語辞典」を使って選び出した.さらにコンピュ-タを用いて,選びだした動詞について全用例を収集(これは「オトフリ-トの福音書」と「タチア-ン」まで).3.ヴァレンツ理論による動詞の結合価分析.すなわち具体的に言うと,各動詞ごとに用例について,(1)一つ一つの動詞の例文に関して各文肢(Syntagma)に文を分解する.(2)一つの動詞がどのような文肢とよく結びつくか.文肢の頻度数を調査する事にによって,補足成文(頻度数がある程度高い文肢)と自由添加語(頻度数の低い文肢)を特定する.この作業を選定した動詞すべてに関して行なう.(3)ヴァレンツ辞書モデルの作成.補足成文が動詞の結合価(ヴァレンツ)であり,これを統語論的,意味論的に考察,記号によって分類し,各動詞ごとに辞書モデルとして記載する.以上の基礎的作業が本年は「オトフリ-トの福音書」及び「タチア-ン」の相当部分まで実施された.さらに今後,残りのテキストについても同相に上述作業を進めたい.
