1.対称群上のべき和タイプの距離関数を定めている関数f(・)に,ある在る条件を仮定した上で,(1)距離関数の分布と標準正規との差にBerryーEssen typeの1/√nーオ-ダ-のboundが成立することを示した.(2)べき和タイプの距離関数の同時正規性を示し,それを使って,Contiguousマロ-分布の下でのべき距離統計量の漸近正規性と検出力の評価式を得た.2.対称群の上の距離関数のp-値や%点を決めるためのプログラムを,新たに作り直し,任意の位数の種称群に対しても,計算機の能力が許す限り,p-値計算ができるプログラムとなった.これを使って,(1)nの10付近での各種の距離の分布的性質を調べる予定である.(2)計算機によるp-計算の計算時間がどれくらい短くなるか,アルゴリズムを調べている.(3)nが10以下の時の,各種の距離関数の間の類似度を定義し,その類似度のデ-タをとり,いくつかの距離関数の類似度を距離関数を空間配置することで視覚的に表現する事を予定している.(4)統計計算が大きな計算量を必要とする時(例えば,並べ変え検定のp-値計算等),如何にアルゴリズムを工夫して計算量を減らすかという研究が活発化している.我々の研究も距離関数のp-値計算の工夫に留まらず,その様な一般的統計計算の計算アルゴリズムの研究という方向に展開中である.3.分割表の対数線形モデルによる解析における各々のパラメ-タの表す意味空間が,ある適当な有限群の表現を考えるとき,その既約分解に表れる不変部分空間に対応していることを明らかにした.また,独立性のスペクトル検定を定義し,その性質をシミュレ-ションで調べた。この方向の研究は継続中である.
