Nitric Oxide(NO)の血圧調節における作用部位を動脈圧受容体反射の観点から明らかにするために,NOの前駆体であるL-アルギニン,NO合成の阻害薬であるN^G-monomethyl-L-arginine(L-NMMA)静注による血圧および求心性神経活動と節前・節後性遠心性交感神経活動の反応を定量的に検討し,以下の点を示した.1.L-アルギニンを静脈内に漸増投与すると,血圧・大動脈神経活動に変化を認めない段階から頚部交感神経活動および腎交感神経活動の減少を認めた.L-アルギニン200mumol/kg/minでは血圧の下降とともに大動脈神経活動は減少した.しかし,通常の圧受容体反射を介した反応とは異なり,頚部交感神経活動・腎交感神経活動は増加せずに更に減少した.2.L-NMMAを投与した場合では,投与速度の増加にともない血圧の上昇,大動脈神経活動の増加を認めた.しかし,頚部交感神経活動と腎交感神経活動は通常の圧受容体反射を介した反応とは異なり,増加傾向を示した.3.L-アルギニンの持続静注による血圧,神経活動の変化は,D-アルギニンの持続静注ではみられなかった.4.L-アルギニンの持続静注による血圧,神経活動の変化は,L-アルギニンとL-NMMAを同時に投与した場合にはみられなかった.5.L-アルギニンまたはL-NMMA投与により,大動脈神経活動,頚部交感頚部神経活動,腎交感神経活動の血圧変化に対する感受性には変化を認めなかった.以上の結果より,NOが圧受容体反射の末梢経路を介さずに中枢神経系に作用することにより交感神経活動をそして血圧を調節することが示唆された.

When L-Alexin is gradually administered intravenously, blood pressure and aortic nerve activity are changed in stages, including a decrease in sympathetic nerve activity and a decrease in renal sympathetic nerve activity. L-Alexin 200mumol/kg/min has a decrease in blood pressure and a decrease in aortic nerve activity. 2. When L-NMMA is administered, the blood pressure increases and the arterial activity increases. 3. The blood pressure, the change in the activity of the sympathetic nervous system and the renal sympathetic nervous system, the change in the activity of the sympathetic nervous system and the change in the activity of the sympathetic nervous system, the change in the activity of the sympathetic nervous system and the renal sympathetic nervous system. L-NMMA and L-NMMA are administered simultaneously. 5. L-NMMA and L-NMMA are administered simultaneously. Arterial activity, sympathetic activity, renal sympathetic activity, and blood pressure change are all related to sensitivity. The above results indicate that NO plays a role in the central nervous system through the peripheral pathway of the pressure receptor reflex, and that NO plays a role in the regulation of blood pressure through sympathetic nervous activity.
