厚生省は,老後も豊かな食生活を維持することを目標に,80歳で少なくとも20本の歯を残そうという8020運動を提唱した。しかし,その要とも言える母子歯科保健については,乳幼児や一部の妊産婦と対象をした報告が多く,健康教室等に参加しない母親の口腔内状態やブラッシング行動に関する研究はほとんど行われていない。そこで,本研究では,母親の地域集団レベルでの実態を把握することを目的とし,受診率が比較的高い1歳6か月児健康診査に同伴した母親を対象として,歯周健診(口腔評価指数ORIを判定基準とする)と質問紙調査(歯科保健に対する認識の程度を評価する歯科保険行動目録HU-DBIを用いる)を行った。また,同時に,得られデータをもとにして,調査基準として用いたORIとHU-DBIの関連性についての検討を行い,以下のような結果を得た。1.母親の歯周状態については,ORIの判定基準で“特に良好(+2)"と認められた者は10.6%に過ぎず,“不良(-1,-2)"と判定された者は26.6%に達した。つまり,口腔に対する自己管理の不充分な母親が多いと思われる。2.母親のHU-DBIの平均値は4.92であった。個々の質問項目については,母親全体の43%は「老人になったら入れ歯になるのも仕方のないことだと思う」と答え,73%が「歯の治療は痛くなってから行く」と答えるなど,歯の健康に対する考え方や態度は消極的なものであった。3.ORIとHU-DBIとの間に相関係数の有意性が確認された(p<0.001)。しかし,得られたデータからの抽出実験を行ったところ,標本が小さい場合,ただ一回の調査で相関係数の有意性が認められたとしても,その信頼性に問題があることが示された。

The Ministry of Health and Welfare has maintained a healthy lifestyle for 80 years. The mother's oral health status is the most important aspect of maternal and child dental care, including maternal and child health reports, health classrooms, etc. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey on the status of maternal health care in the region, which was aimed at evaluating the status of maternal health care in the region. At the same time, we obtained the results of the investigation on the correlation between ORI and HU-DBI. 1. The ORI criterion was "especially good (+2)" and "bad (-1,-2)" in 10.6% and 26.6% respectively. The oral cavity is not adequately managed by the mother. 2. Mother's HU-DBI is 4.92. 43% of mothers responded to "elderly people's health problems" and 73% responded to "dental treatment problems" and "dental health problems". 3. The correlation coefficient between ORI and HU-DBI was confirmed intentionally (p<0.001). In this case, the correlation coefficient of a loop is intentionally determined.
