本研究はわが国の精神薄弱養護学校高等部での作業教育や職業前教育の内容がどの様な要因によって規定されているかを明らかにすることを目的に計画された。今年度はまず対象校の負担を極力軽減しつつ具体的な実践内容を把握するため、特定の調査用紙を用いずに各校の学校要覧と実践研究紀要を収集した。その結果、実質的に職業教育として進路指導と関連づけながら作業学習を位置づけていた学校が少なくないことが明らかとなった。しかし、高等養護学校のように職業教育を活動の中心に据えている学校でも特定の種目に関する職業教育を専門的に行うのではなく、むしろ職業前教育に重点を置かざるを得ない状況に迫られつつあることが明らかとなった。進路指導以外の他の領域や教科との関連を持たせ、より幅広く社会での生活を意識した職業前教育に力を入れる必要のあることが示唆された。職業前教育の内容規定要因の一つとしてこのような文脈が理解できた。

This study aims to establish a plan for the content of vocational education and pre-vocational education in higher mental health schools. This year, we will try our best to reduce the burden on schools and collect the summary of practical research on specific research papers. The results, quality of vocational education, path guidance, relationships, homework, learning, position, school, etc. The center of vocational education activities in higher maintenance schools is located in the center of vocational education activities. In addition to career guidance, other fields of education and communication, social awareness and pre-career education are essential to the development of education. The content of pre-vocational education should be understood according to the context.
