本年度の研究においては、まず、これまでの王朝貴族説話についての研究文献を系統的に収集・読解して研究史のあとづけをおこなった。その段階において、相当数の興味深い研究課題を見いだすに至ったが、これまでの私の研究の蓄積を生かすために、本年度は、ひとまず、主たる研究対象を『十訓抄』所収の王朝貴族説話に関連するものに定めて、研究を開始した。具体的には、『十訓抄』所収の王朝貴族説話のうち、とくに和歌に関連する説話を考察の対象にすえて、院政期から鎌倉期の歌学書に収められている説話と『十訓抄』所収説話との関連について調査を進めた。その結果、『俊頼髄脳』『袋草紙』『古来風体抄(再撰本)』等の従来より出典として指摘されているものの他に、『奥義抄』『和歌色葉』も『十訓抄』の出典とみなしうることを確認しえた。それとともに、従来、出典として指摘されている歌学書と『十訓抄』との関係を論ずる際には、出典と見做される諸書の諸本研究の成果を踏まえて、具体的にどのようなテキストを『十訓抄』編者が利用したのかということを把握することが必要であり、そのことによって、『十訓抄』の歌学の世界を背景とする説話の位相ならびに『十訓抄』の当代の学問世界における位置付けを明らかにしうるのではないかとの見通しを得るに至った。この方面についての具体的な考察は、今後の研究課題としたい。また、上述の研究のほかに、『十訓抄』の後代における受容の様相を考察することによって、『十訓抄』の有する特質を明らかにしその広範な受容を支えたファクターを探る試みとして、『清輔雑談集』における『十訓抄』受容の様相について考察をおこなった(この考察の成果は、1994年3月発行予定の『鳴門教育大学研究紀要(人文・社会科学編)』第9巻発表する)。
