本年度の研究内容は以下のとおりである。1.国内経済主体の利害の不一致とそれに対する当局の政策反応を明示化するため国内経済主体として就業者(実質賃金の維持を選好)と失業者(雇用の増大を選好)の2つの主体を考え、当局がいくつかの金融政策手段を使い、社会的厚生を最大化するというモデルを構築した。2.以上のような具体的なモデルを前提に、各国当局が、一方で国内経済主体と、他方で他国当局と社会的厚生の最大化を目指した政策決定の2層・2段階ゲームに直面する状況を特定化し、各経済主体の行動の決定をモデルに則して分析した。3.モデル分析から、各国当局の金融政策手段の選択は、国際的な当局間ゲームが存在しない場合には、社会的厚生の最大化にとって、無差別であるが、国際的なゲームが存在する場合には、国内経済主体の賃金・雇用設定に影響を与え、経済厚生を変化させることが示された。また、後者の状況では、国内経済主体の行動が変化することから、それによって各国当局の金融政策の選択が左右され、当局間のゲームの均衡として国際通貨制度の選択を特定化するという興味深い相互作用が示された。4.以上の結果を論文“The strategic choice of monetary policy instruments in a two-country model"にまとめ、理論計量経済学会大会(1993年10月)およびNorth American Economics and Finance Association ,Annual Meeting(Jan.,1994)で発表し、討論者から多くの有益なコメントを得た。現在は、それらのコメントを基に改訂を行い、論文を投稿する予定である。改訂の主要な点は、経済構造を特定化するパラメターに数値例を用い、シミュレーションによって国内経済主体の意志決定と国際的政策決定の相互作用の経済厚生に与える影響を明示的に数量分析したことである。

This year's research content is as follows: 1. The policy responses of domestic economic entities are clearly stated. Domestic economic entities are examined in relation to industries (quality maintenance) and unemployed (employment growth). Financial policy instruments of the authorities are designed to maximize social well-being. 2. The above specific conditions are based on the analysis of the two levels of policy decisions made by the authorities of each country and the maximization of social welfare by the authorities of one country and the authorities of the other. 3. The analysis shows that the choice of financial policy instruments by national authorities, the existence of international authorities, the maximization of social welfare, the absence of differences, the existence of international authorities, the impact of domestic economic entities 'financial and employment settings, and the transformation of social welfare. The latter situation, the domestic economic subject's action changes, the choice of financial policy of each country's authorities changes, the choice of the international currency system between the authorities changes, the interaction between the two countries is very interesting. 4. The above results were presented in a paper entitled "The strategic choice of monetary policy instruments in a two-country model". North American Economics and Finance Association ,Annual Meeting(January, 1993). 1994), and the discussion was more useful. Now, the paper is scheduled to be published. The main points of the revision are to specify the economic structure, use numerical examples, and analyze the interaction between the will decisions of domestic economic entities and international policy decisions, and make clear the impact on economic health.
