项目摘要

本研究では申請者のこれまでの実験研究で得られた知見を枠組みとして、ヒトが日常の生活のどのような場面で、どのような事象間の随伴性の判断を求められ、その際にどのように情報を取捨選択し、処理しているかを調査的な手法を用いて検討加えた。具体的には次のように、申請者が従来より実験室内で行なってきた実験事態を援用した調査研究を行なった。随伴性の判断についての実験研究では、実験事態としてたとえば株価の変化と市況の変化との関係を評定させるというような、様々なストーリーに基づいたテレビゲームの事態を用いて研究を行なっている。これらの実験では被験者に与えられる情報も、被験者の反応も実験事態であるが故に非常に制限の強いものとなっている。今回の調査ではこれらの事態設定の下で、主に自由記述式の質問紙や面接調査法、課題遂行時の行動観察などに方法により、被験者が判断の際に用いる、あるいは用いようとする情報を特定し、事態や課題そのものをどのように把握しているかについての基礎的なデータを収集した。また、これにより、従来の実験的研究では実験操作-測定の範囲の外に置かれていた様々な要因のいくつかが探索的に明らかにされ、被験者の情報処理の多様性が示唆された。以上のような実験的研究と並行して、人間の随伴性判断における情報処理の多様性が、従来の理論的枠組みでどのように取り扱われているという問題に関して、文献的な研究を行なった。このうち、特に学習研究との関連を論じたものを研究論文として発表した。
