本年度の研究実績については、以下の2点にまとめられる。1、川表記の実態調査2、日葡辞書見出語の電子データ作成中世における「川」表記は、促音-入声音表記として存在していることは従来から指摘のあるところではあったが、その範囲は写本に限らず、版本にも広く見られることが確認できた。そのジャンルも文芸テキストから辞書(節用集、倭玉篇)まで広く見られる。年代的な下限や、古文書類での実態の確認は今後の課題の一つであるが、同一テキスト内における記述的研究が今後重要となる。この実態はローマ字表記の資料、日葡辞書に於いても確認された。
