漢訳仏典には、経文中に用いられる漢字に対する小学的情報を附載したもので、いわゆる音義書とは異なる「附載音釈」が存在する。これについては、古く写経にも存在するが、宋版一切経には多く組織的に存在しており、また、日本の院政期の古辞書にも、その言語情報ソースとして利用されている。しかし、従来これらの文献に注目した研究はほとんどなく、全く放置された状態であった。本研究は「附載音釈」研究のためのインフラ整備として、「附載音釈」研究の意義、主に、東禅寺版、開示寺版の「附載音釈」について版種区別の問題などを取り扱った。具体的には、写経も含めて、図録などから附載音釈の収集と、宮内庁書陵部蔵の福州版(東禅寺版と開元寺版とを併せた呼称)一切経、および金沢文庫蔵福州版一切経、それぞれの附載音釈についての画像データを収集した。宮内庁書陵部本については、既に写真撮影されたネガが存在したので、そこからの焼付けが可能であったが、金沢文庫本については、一々写真撮影を行った(全撮影にはまだかなりの期日を要する)。収集し得たデータから、現段階で指摘しておくべきことは、・福州両版の版種の区別は、現実にはかなり困難が伴い容易ではない。・福州版は、基本的に函別音釈を有しているが、若干ではあるが、巻末音釈も存する。といった点である。更なる調査に基づくデータ収集が必要である。
