项目摘要

本研究の課題は、日本の労働市場を想定したうえで、価格メカニズムが部分的にしか作用しない場合でも賃金が伸縮的に変動し、雇用が安定的になるのはどのような場合かを考察することにある。この課題を考察すべく、今年度は価格メカニズムが一定の範囲にしか及ぼさないケースとして、労働市場が二つの異なるメカニズムが作用する市場の枠組みで、理論分析を進めてきた。この研究成果の一端を、平成6年9月に南山大学で開催された理論・計量経済学会全国大会において「プロフィットシェアリング経済vs賃金経済-外部労働市場を考慮した比較分析」という論題で報告した。概要は、シェア経済は雇用を安定化させるという命題に対して否定的な議論が多いなかで、労働市場が未熟練市場の形で価格メカニズム作用を部分的に有するならば、この市場を緩衝役として、依然として総雇用は安定化されるというものある。その後、シェア経済は雇用を安定化させるけれども、賃金の大幅な変動を通じて、労働者の効用を不安定化させうるという内容の論文をまとめた。これらの成果は、いずれ英訳して、海外の研究雑誌に投稿したいと考えている。また、これらの研究を含むこれまでの研究成果は、平成4年受理された博士論文(神戸大学)をベースに今年中に出版される予定である。上記の研究と並行して、研究旅費を用いて当該研究に関する資料収集や研究会出席を行うことができた。また、関連図書の購入をまとめて有効に行うことができた。記して感謝申し上げる。最後に、このたびの研究期間中に労働時間の変動を考慮した雇用の変動分析を十分行うことができなかった。この研究を含む今後の課題として、投資の変動をも考慮されているマクロ一般均衡の枠組みで、賃金の伸縮性と雇用の変動要因の考察を進めていきたいと考えている。
