本研究テーマは東アジアにおける貿易・直接投資の二大主役である日系資本と華人系資本の企業経営の特質の解明、二者間の比較を目的としている。過去三年余の間に自分が関わっていた「局地経済圏」、「地域経済開発」関連プロジェクトでは、国・地域別に資本の動きをマクロ的視点から把握してきたが、企業経営そのものに対するアプローチが極めて不十分であったこと、特に世界的に注目を集めている華人系企業に対するミクロ視点からの研究・分析が必要性を増していることを認識して、本テーマに関わる研究を進めるようにした。研究予算執行期間において、先ず最初に本研究テーマに関わる資料集を行いました。中国本土、台湾と香港出版の経済統計資料や代表的財閥企業の有価証券報告書、企業経営関係図書を中心に集め、一部の研究分析にいかした。東京方面を中心に、国内のシンクタンク、アジア研究関係の学者、一部の新聞社を訪問し、研究に関わるアドバイスを受け、意見交換を行った。外国における華人系企業のヒアリングができないために、日本法人となっている華僑創業・経営の企業(九州地元の企業)を3社、九州地元、中央の華僑総会(一部華僑工商会)4ヵ所、およびアジアに進出し、幅広く直接投資、経営活動を行っている代表的日本企業(電気関係が中心)の本社5社、銀行・證券関係の調査機構数社をヒアリングした。日本における華僑系企業経営の実態や、バブルの崩壊を期に変遷しつつある日本企業の経営管理の実態を調査し、今後の動向について分析した。研究時間と資料が限られているが、上記の実態調査や資料分析を通して、両者の業種選好、財務的特質に関して、一定の研究成果を上げることができたと考えている。研究成果を論文にまとめて公表する予定である。

Survey on the Management Status of Japanese Overseas Chinese Enterprises and Analysis of Future Trends The research time and data are limited, and the actual investigation and data analysis are communicated, and the business selection and financial characteristics of the enterprise are related to the research results.
