■1995年3月10日現在までの成果を、研究のフローに従って、以下に報告する。1.都市景観における色彩様相のモデル化・体系化の試み1)現地調査による様相の種類の確認調査対象として、(1)御堂筋沿い(心斎橋付近)の景観、(2)道頓堀川沿い戎橋付近の景観、(3)OBPオフィスビル群の景観を選定した。条件として、様相の種類が豊富で、かつ、建物群を一望できる空間(広幅員の道路、河川等)があることを考慮した。2)3属性による様相の表現方法の検討1)の調査を通して、都市景観の様相が、(1)様態、(2)明るさ輝き、(3)実体性の3属性により表現できることを再確認した。さらに、各属性を数段階に区分する方法を設定した。2.コンピューターグラフィックスによる都市景観の様相のシミュレーション3)都市景観の様相と、コンピューターグラフィックス上の表色系との対応づけ1)の現地調査で得た景観写真を、コンピュータ画面上に読みとり、様々な様相の画素値をRGBにより検出した。以上の作業により、色彩の様相と、コンピューターグラフィックスの表色系との関係を調べた。4)コンピューターグラフィックスによる様相の操作コンピューター画面上の実景観写真について、上記3)の結果をもとに、様相を操作し、再現性を検証した。5)コンピュータグラフィックスによる都市景観の様相のシミュレーション色彩の様相を画像処理により操作し、様相による様々景観パターンを作成し、約70シーンをストックした。操作パターンは3つの属性についてそれぞれ、4〜6段階で操作した。様態:6段階、明るさ輝き:5段階、実体性:4段階3.都市景観の様相と心理的効果との関係6)視覚的実験により、上記5)で作成したサンプルの評価実験を行う。現在実験方法を検討中である。サンプル数としては、実験時間や被験者の疲労等を考慮し、30〜40程度を考えている。■今後の課題色彩の様相は、物体表面の特性と、周辺の環境条件に影響されて現れる。従って、都市景観の色彩様相を考える場合、物体表面に現れる様相のみを検討するだけでなく、天候・太陽高度・街路の方向・周辺建物が形成する空間形態等の環境条件も考慮する必要がある。今回の研究では、平面的なイメージデータにより、操作対象の物体表面のみ扱ったが、環境条件を操作しなかったため、様相の再現性に限界があった。環境光やテクスチャーの条件を設定できる3次元グラフィックスモデル用いれば、再現性の高い様相のモデルを作成することが可能と考えられる。
