平成10年度は、「まちなみ景観色彩ガイドプラン作成システム」を構築する上でのデータの収集を目的として、東京都江東区を対象に、風土色と既存建築物の外壁色の現況調査を行い、それに基づいて都市の色彩計画の提案を行った。その要旨は以下の通り。(1) 地域固有の色を表す風土色については、気候、地形や地質など風土の基本的な条件と直接関係する「自然環境に関する色」と、その地域における人々の生活の積み重ねが色になった「歴史文化に関わる色」という2つの視点を設けて調査を行った。(2) 江東区の風土色としては、自然環境として土壌、植生、花、空と水を調べ、歴史・文化環境として歴史的建築物、浮世絵、祭り、伝統工芸品、のれん、地名等を調査することで、ベーちいきの風土条件が生み出してきた最も調和のとれた色を読みとり、ベースカラーになる土壌、空などの色、アクセントカラーになる花、祭り、工芸品などの色を抽出した。(3) 現状の街並み景観色彩を調査した結果、集中的に分布する色が明度6〜7.5、彩度2〜3のYR系とY系であり、現在ベースとして使われている色は、この地域が育んできた風土色よりも彩度が高く、まちの色彩景観に混乱を来していることが明らかとなった。(4) 調査結果を元に、既存建築物の色彩分布傾向で多く見られる色相を選び、該当する色調の色を風土色の中から選び出すことで、江東区の景観色彩ガイドをベースカラー、サブベースカラー フレームカラー アクセントカラーに分解して提案を行った。

In 2010, we conducted a survey on the color of the exterior walls of existing buildings in Jiangdong District, Tokyo, and proposed a color plan for the city. The following is a list of the main points. (1)The natural color of the region is related to the basic conditions of the climate, the terrain and the geology. The natural environment is related to the color of the region. The life of the region is related to the color of the history and culture. The viewpoint is set up and investigated. (2)Jiangdong District's climate and soil color, natural environment, soil, vegetation, flowers, air and water, history, cultural environment, historical buildings, floating world, sacrificial ceremony, traditional industrial products, cultural relics, geographical names, etc. The color of the product is extracted. (3)The current situation of the street and the color of the scene are investigated. The color distribution is concentrated. The brightness is 6 ~ 7.5. The chroma is 2 ~ 3. The YR system is Y system. Now, the color is high. The color of the scene is chaotic. (4)The survey results show that the color distribution tendency of existing buildings is more frequent, the hue is selected, the color of the current color is selected, the color of the landscape in Jiangdong District is selected, and the color of the landscape in Jiangdong District is decomposed.
