上記の研究課題を解明するために,以下の点を中心に研究を進めた。(1)経済学、経営学、さらには近年一定の展開を示している内部組織の経済学等、依拠する学問分野の基礎的検討を行い、作目別生産者組織の再編問題への適用可能性を考察した。(2)農協論における作目別生産者組織問題に関する既存の研究成果をサーベイすることによって、研究課題についての論点整理を行い、(1)での検討結果も踏まえながら、広域合併に伴う作目別生産者組織の再編問題を組織の統合や組織の大規模化に伴う意思決定システムの変質という側面から理論的に検討した。(3)以下の点について実態調査を行い、上記研究目的について実証的に明らかにした。1)広域合併を行ってから一定程度の年月が過ぎている農協を事例対象として、事業・経営環境の変化や組織基盤の変容に伴う合併以降これまでの作目別生産者組織の再編経過を明らかにした。調査対象農協:兵庫県神戸市西農協2)最近広域合併を行った農協を事例対象として、合併に伴って現在直面する作目別生産者組織再編上の問題点を明らかにするとともに、1)での事例分析結果も踏まえながら、今後の作目別生産者組織再編のあり方を検討した。調査対象農協:(1)兵庫県丹波ひかみ農協、(2)同神崎郡北農協、(3)同あわじしま農協、(4)同豊岡市農協(4)必要に応じて、全国農協中央会、京都大学農学部、社団法人農業開発研修センター,兵庫県農協中央会等への資料収集旅行を実施した。

The above research topics are explained clearly, and the following points are studied centrally.
