项目摘要

最終年度を迎えた「アメリカ史における戦争と女性」に関する共同研究は,以下の3本の軸に沿ったかたちで行われた。(1)戦争とジェンダーについての史学史的な整理と論理的枠組みの設定,(2)戦争と女性に関する比較研究の試み、(3)アメリカにおける戦争と女性に関する研究動向の中での本研究の位置づけ。(1)については,昨年度までの共同研究をもとに,「戦争とジェンダー」研究の史学史的考察および理論的到達段階について総括的に論じたエッセイを研究誌に寄稿した。(谷中寿子「戦争とジェンダー」『アメリカ史研究』20号)(2)は対外的な取り組みとして,毎年国立婦人教育会館が主催する女性学・ジェンダー研究フォーラムに自主企画のシンポジウム「戦争と女性-ジェンダーの視座からの歴史の見直し」をもって参加した(8月1日〜3日)。ここでは本プロジェクトメンバーからの報告者と司会に加えて,フランス史,日本史の分野からも「戦争と女性」の共通のテーマで報告してもらい,ジェンダーを軸とした比較史的視点から討論を行った。参加者は60名ほどで盛会であった。(3)1997年10月末から11月初めにかけてワシントン,D.C.で開催された The American Studies Association(ASA)の年次大会での「戦争と女性」「ベトナム戦争と女性」に関するセッションに共同研究メンバー7名中6名が参加した。この大会参加により、アメリカでは従来からの女性史やジェンダー研究の蓄積にふまえ,戦争と女性の研究がまさに新しい段階で進行中であること,われわれの共同研究がアメリカでのそれと同時進行的な状況にあることを確認した。最終報告書ではこれまでの共同研究の成果を,第一部総論(1)「戦争とジェンダー」(2)「ベトナム戦争とジェンダー」,第二部各論(個別研究)としてまとめを行う。

The final year is to meet the "History of Women" and jointly study the following three axes. (1)(2) The comparative study of the relationship between women and men;(3) The research trend of the relationship between women and men. (1)In the past year, the joint study of "the dispute between the two countries" has been carried out. The investigation of the history of the study and the arrival stage of the theory have been submitted to the research journal. (No. 20,"Research on the History of Women's Studies" by Tsukiko Tanaka)(2) Participation in the "Research on the History of Women's Studies" organized by the National Women's Education Center (August 1 - 3). This is the first time in history that a woman has ever been involved in a dispute with a woman. 60 participants attended the event. (3) From the end of October to the beginning of November 1997,D.C. launched the annual conference of The American Studies Association(ASA) on "Women in Conflict" and "Women in Conflict". Six out of seven participants participated in the joint research. This conference will be held in Beijing, China, from October 20 to 21, 2013. The final report is devoted to the results of joint research. The first part of the report is a general discussion (1) on "disputes"(2) on "disputes"(3) and the second part is a monograph (individual research).
