METHANE,THE MOST ABUNDANT AND STABLE HYDROCARBON GAS IN THE ATMOSPHERE,PLAYS AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE PHOTOCHEMISTRY OF BACKGROUND TROPOSPHERE.THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT OF METHANE IS CONSIDERED TO BE 25 TIMES OF THAT OF CARBON DIOXIDE IN THE ATMOSPHERE.NITROUS OXIDE IS ONE OF THE EFFECTIVE CREENHOUSE GASES.THE CURRENT ATMOSPHERIC NITROUS OXIDE IS PAAROXIMATELY 310 PPB AND IS INCRESING AT A RATE OF 0.2-0.3%/YR.IN THIS PROJECT,WE STUDY ABOUT THE DEVEROPMENT OF THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT PRESERVATION SYSTEM ADAPTED TO THE GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT PRESERVATION.HYDROGEN FERMENTATIONS BECAME STABLE AFER 50 DAYS.AND IT DID NOT EFFECT THE DIFERENCE OF SEED SLUDGE.NITROUS OXIDE DISSOLVED IN THE EFFLUENT FROM THE FIRST REACTOR WAS EFFECTIVELY CONSUMED IN THE SECOND REACTOR (ANOXIC TANK) BY DENITRIFICATION.ADDITION OF METHANOL INTO THE FIRST REACTOR WAS AN ORGANIC CARBON SOURCE FOR DENITRIFIERS WAS EFFECTIVE TO SUPPRESS NITROUS OXIDE PRODUCTION IN THE REACTOR.ENVIRONMENTAL ADVANTAGE OF DISTRICT HEATING SYSTEM UTILIZING THE WASTE HEAT FROM SEWAGE WAS EXAMINED BY USING THE METHOD OF LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT.CARBONDIOXIDE EMISSION IN OPERATION STAGE IS LOWER WHEREAS THAT IN CONSTRUCTION STAGE IS HIGHER IN THE DISTINCT HEATING SYSTEMEMIT LESS CARBONDIOXIDE THAN THE CURRENT CONDITION.
