项目摘要

今年度に行った研究によって得られた新たな知見等の成果の概要は次の通りである。I.成人の音声聴取能力の研究(1)成人の外国語(英語)音声聴取能力の測定方法として,音声識別能力検査,無音区間検知閾値測定検査,実時間処理可能な刺激長測定検査を開発し,大学生を被験者にして測定を行った。(2)音韻識別能力検査結果については,発達的変化としての音韻識別能力の低下とその後の経過という言語習得理論の観点からの考察を行い,成人でも新たな音韻識別能力を習得することが可能であると結論した。(3)無音区間検知閾値検査については最大投射の直後に無音区間が認められる刺激に限定して測定を行い,その結果を構文解析理論にも言及しながら考察を行った。(4)より客観的に被験者の聴覚情報処理能力を測定できる手法を考案した。II.受聴システムの研究受聴システムによる補聴学習のための音声の音圧レベル,時間軸伸張の区間・程度,振幅の増幅の区間・程度などのパラミターを決定した。III.データベース化の研究成人の外国語音声聴取能力検査結果のデータベース化の方法及び公開方法について検討した。研究代表者のホームページ上に公開する予定である。今後の研究の展開に関する計画は次の通りである。(1)特に無音区間検知閾値測定検査,実時間処理可能な刺激長測定検査について,現在多用されている英語のリスニング試験との関係についてさらに研究を進め,外国語(英語)リスニング能力測定のための標準的な検査バッテリ-としての認定を受けるべく,学会などに働きかける。(2)予備実験を通じて考案した新たな手法により,外国語の聴覚情報処理能力の測定を行うことでより客観的なデータを得て,日本人成人学習者用受聴システムのパラミターをより厳密に特定する。
