High speed operation of the superconducting power electronics device (S-PED) has been observed. Obtained results reveal the possibility of "Thermally-Controlled Superconducting Switch" for rectifying device.(1) S-PED with heat exchenger has been made. It improved 10% heater and cooling efficiency compaired with no heat exchenger.(2)The relationship between the heater inout voltage, the pulse width, the generation speed of the resistance the maximum generated resistance, and the recovery time have been cleared.(3) If the voltage across the S-PED is not large, there is a possibility to develop the rectifire at line frequency.The research and development are reqired to reduce the turn off gate energy. With this fund, the performance test of developed S-PED and the preparation of improvement for the heater efficiency have been performed. It is established the method to yield the improved device.
