「多文化社会における国民・民族としての教育と人間一般としての教育に関する研究-M.ブーバーの教育思想と実践を手がかりとして-」の今年度の研究成果としては、第一に、ブーバー思想の理解を進めるための諸文献をかなり多数入手することができたこと、第二に、上記課題に関連する研究テーマをもつ研究者の何人かと情報の交換を行うことができたこと、が挙げられる。第一の点については、諸資料を順次検討中であるが、当初の予想以上に資料の数が膨大であったため、特にテーマと関係の深い内容について厳選していく必要を感じている。また、期待していたブーバーの教育実践についてのオリジナル資料については、いまだ入手できておらず、これはやはり現地における調査・資料収集を行うべきであると考えている。第二の点については、特に三重大学の斉藤昭先生より多くの示唆を与えられた。一部、資料も提供していただくことができた。また、教育学界全体において、多文化社会における多様な教育の在り方をめぐる議論が高まっており、関連するテーマでの研究集会等に積極的に参加でき、研究動向を知る機会を得られたことは、今後の私自身の研究の展開にとり大きな収穫であった。来年度以降も引き続き、当初の研究計画に則って、本テーマについての研究を進めていくつもりである。
