調査協力願った従業員600人程度の化粧品製造販売業者は、当初ネットワーク導入を果たした。しかしその後予定変更し、やや長期的に運用段階を広げることになった。そのため、ネットワーク参加の管理職・従業員に対する導入事前調査後、事態は滞った。電子メールが導入されて、普及した段階で、すべての事業所にわたる管理職、中核社員おおよそ40人程度に調査を実施したが、それ以上には進展していない。現在、電子メールだけだから、電子掲示板を併用する段階へ移行中である。電子メール導入前後二回の調査の内容分析は現在進行中である。その後、発表は当該企業の内見、許諾を終えてからとなっているため、しばらく時間がかかると思われる。このシステムはパソコン通信会社のCUG(Closed User Group)を利用したものである。当該企業幹部はインターネット利用に切り替えるかどうかを検討中である。第二の予定会社であった自動車販売会社は、業績不振とパソコン通信とインターネットの比較検討を理由に、ネットワーク導入を延期したため、調査に入っていない。シミュレーション・モデルの作成とその実行は、対象企業での進展が期待できなかったため、年度途中で断念した。しかし、理論研究面では、文献研究と資料収集、ディスカッションに努めた。さらに、インターネット上のいくつかのメーリング・リストに参加し、情報交換に努めた。その一部は、以下の出版予定書籍に利用予定である。・宇野 斉 稿 組織構造 (1)組織構造の変遷 (2)組織構造の理論と未来(高柳 暁 編 経営組織(仮題)中央経済社 1996年出版予定 第3章)
