项目摘要

The objective of this study is to collect and digitalize data of meteorological parameters such as rainfall for last three decades which have been accumulated by the Indoneshian Meteorogical and Geophysical Agency (BMG) as hand-or type-writing records, and to produce a useful database after utility checks on continuity and reliability which should fulfilll climatological blanks over the Indonesian maritime continent.In the first fiscal year (1996), investigators visited the central office and ten regional offices of BMG,and surveyed the status of operational observations (instrumental accuracy, continuity, recording method, etc.) at each offices. An implementing agreement on collaborative data collection and analysis was made at the Agency for Assessment and Application of Techonology (BPPT).
