Traditional Festival in Modern City-Study on the Change of Traditional Festival in Informational Society-

该研究项目明确了日本现代城市如何管理传统节日。我专门研究了社会学中的文化再生产理论和亚文化理论。根据这一理论，居民（神社的住客和chonaikai的成员）从他们在社区协会的各种活动中学习管理技能（habitus或le sens pratique）。他们可以通过练习管理技巧（习惯）来经营节日委员会办公室。然后我尝试根据参与性观察的原则，对横滨的大圣宫大斋和神户的Ikuta-sai进行调查。我收集了这些传统节日的资料，并运用文化再生产理论和亚文化理论对其进行了整理。

This research project has made clear how the traditional festivals have been managed in modern city of Japan. I made a special study of the theory of cultural reproduction and subculture in sociology. According to this theory inhabitants (ujikos of shrine and members of chonaikai) learn the skills of management (habitus or le sens pratique) from various activities that they are doing in the neighborhood association. They can run a festival committee office through practicing the skills of mangement (habitus). And then I attempted to investigate Osannomiya-taisai in Yokohama and Ikuta-sai in Kobe according to the principle of participant observation. I have collected materials of these traditonal festivals and arranged them in order by means of the theory of cultural reproduction and subculture.
