平成8年度に収集・推計した東アジア各国の長期経済統計の項目は以下の通りである。GDP人口(規模、密度、年齢、地域構成、出生・死亡率)第一次産業(生産、消費、投入、要素価格、交易条件、生産性、農地規模構成)第二次産業(生産、消費、投入、要素価格、生産性、企業規模構成、産業立地)第三次産業(生産、消費、投入、要素価格、生産性、企業規模構成)労働(規模、配分、参加率、移動、失業率)貿易(国際収支、規模、市場、輸出入価格、為替、交易条件)財政(歳出入構造、収支、税収構造)金融(金融構造、金利)海外直接投資、援助価格(卸売、小売物価)、分配(所得)技術(R&D、教育、産業別R&D)その他(運輸、通信、環境、観光)以上の収集・推計された整合的な統計を用いて、東アジア各国、すなわちNIEs(韓国、台湾、香港、シンガポール)、ASIAN諸国(タイ、マレーシア、インドネシア、フィリピン、ベトナム)、中国(ならびに中国30の一級行政単位)について以下の項目について、各国・地域の長期経済発展の特徴的パターンの析出につとめた。

The following information is available on the long-term statistics of each country for the year 2008: GDP Population (Size, density, age, geographical composition, birth and death rates) Primary industry (Production, consumption, inputs, factor structure, transaction conditions, productivity, size of cultivated land) Secondary industry (Production, consumption, inputs, factor structure, productivity, size composition of enterprises, industrial location) Third industry (Production, Consumption, Input, Factor Structure, Productivity, Size Composition of Enterprise)(size, distribution, participation, mobility, unemployment) Trade (international income, size, market, export income, turnover, trading conditions) finance (income structure, expenditure structure, tax structure) finance (financial structure, profit) foreign direct investment, aid structure (sales, small sales), distribution (income) technology (R&D, Education, Industry R&D)(Transportation, Communications, Environment, Light) The above aggregation, projection, and integration statistics are used by countries and regions.(Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore), ASIAN countries (China)(China 30 administrative units)
