This research group attempts to pursue two purposes of gathering and arranging the existing enormous materials and data about Buraku in Osaka prefecture, and making research of checking landscape of Buraku settlements. In Osaka prefecture, periodical researches for the living conditions of Buraku were performed from 1961 to 1990, therefore, homogenous data are collected, and analyzed in a better way. According to our analysis, 48 Buraku settlements are classified with five categories. We also executed researches of evaluating the present conditions of buraku after the thirty years dowa assimilation projects, in order to demonstrate the degree how buraku was transformed and how buraku was renewed and distinguished from the adjacent non-buraku area or not. This landscape research clarifies several types of present conditions of buraku which are polarized in its physical condition.

本课题组的目的是收集整理大阪府现存的大量关于Buraku的资料和数据，以及对Buraku聚落景观的考察研究。在大阪府，从1961年到1990年，定期对Buraku的生活状况进行了研究，因此收集了同质的数据，并更好地进行了分析。根据我们的分析，48个Buraku聚落可分为5类。我们还开展了对三十年来农村同化项目后农村现状的评估研究，以证明农村是如何转变的，以及农村是如何更新的，并与邻近的非农村地区区分开来的。通过景观研究，明确了几种不同类型的乡村现状，这些现状在自然条件上呈现两极分化。
