项目摘要

今年度の研究においては、次のようにまとめられる研究実績が得られた。(1)プログラムの全体実施とその教育効果の検討昨年度に作成された攻撃性低減への教育プログラムを全面実施し、その教育効果を検討した。小学校5年生2クラスを教育クラス、さらに2クラスを統制クラスとして、約3ヶ月にわたり、4つのフレームと合計10のモジュールからなるプログラムを実施し、約2か月後のフォローアップ評価を含めて教育効果を検討した。その結果、攻撃性の低減効果が統計的に有意に確認され、プログラムの有効性が確認された。(2)プログラム短縮版の作成とその教育効果の検討上述の攻撃性低減プログラムの全面実施は、学校では1学期間、週2時間ほどの時間を投入することになる。最大効果を発揮するためにはこの規模で実施することが望ましいが、学校教員が最初からこの規模で実施することは困難をきわめるので、各モジュールを約3分の1に短縮した1か月ほどで終了するプログラム短縮版を作成し、同様に教育効果を検討した。その結果は、プログラムの全面実施時ほどではないにしても、教育効果が確認され、現場ではこの短縮版をもって教育を開始できることが示唆された。(3)教育課程におけるプログラムの位置づけの検討この種のプログラムは、保健、道徳、特別活動の時間を利用して実施可能であるが、プログラムの規模の大きさから言って、このプログラムを実施するための専用の時間設定が望まれる。そこで、2002年から全面実施される「総合的な学習の時間」にこのプログラムが適用可能かどうかを最終的に考察した。総合的学習は、「生きる力」の知的側面の教育であるが、この教育には、自律性の高まりが必須であり、その高まりには自主的で体験的な学習だけでは不十分で、本プログラムのように子どもの心的特性を細部にわたって健全なものにする直接的な教育が必要であることが明らかになり、今後の総合的な学習の時間におけるこの種の教育プログラムの展開が期待される。
