1、妄想の定義に関する文献、言語論に関する文献の収集・整理を、引き続きおこなった。このために、補助金により購入されたパソコン・スキャナー・MOドライブを使用した。2、妄想定義の問題については、コネクショニズムの観点から考察した。脳という非論理的なネットワークシステムから論理的な思考が生まれるという事実から、正常な思考と妄想が区別されるには、環境と経験が本質的な役割を果たすと結論できた。3、妄想を特徴付けるための補助テストとして用いた常識・見当識のテスト、および思考能力のテストを、同意をえられた患者に対して施行し、そのデータを研究補助者が入力保存した。その結果、妄想を語る患者は、知的な障害を持っている場合もかなりみられた。定義上、妄想は知的な障害がない患者の言動について言われなければならないため、この面からも、妄想定義の変更が求められた。4、補助金によって購入された録音器具を用いて、妄想的陳述の資料収集を引き続きおこなった。その際、インフォームドコンセントおよびプライバシーの保護には、できる限り配慮した。5、4の資料を、補助金により購入された音声分析ソフトで解析した。妄想を語る場合、音声が変わる例があることは認められが、客観的に確認できるだけのデータは得られなかった。6、Sentenceの構造分析からは、従来妄想と呼ばれていた現象を、思考障害として特徴付けることができた。7、倫理的問題から症例の収集が困難であるので、今後とも長期的にデータを集め、種々の結果の実証性を高めていきたい。
