项目摘要

本年度は、次の調査を行った。1.昨年度の初期語彙の発達における個人差パターン(名詞主導と動詞主導型)の追加調査2.1の発達速度のばらつきの追加調査、その原因と思われる言語入力の影響の調査以下、その概要を報告する。1.自然発話データを用いた初期語彙発達の観察を、4被験児に増やし品詞別の語彙産出を追試した。その結果、やはり名詞主導型と動詞主導型の傾向は依然として観察された。特に、極端なケースの他、その中間ケースも観察され、単純な二分法では分類しにくい傾向があり、品詞頻度の分類だけでは方法に限界が判明。2.別の4被験児の初期語彙では、動詞より名詞のほうが多かったが、言語入力の性質を調べた結果、認知的なメカニズムに加えて、母親のインプットも名詞優位の原因の一つとみられる。特に、母親の発話の名詞の数の増加、こどもにとって名詞が知覚しやすい位置に現われること、名詞の平均形態素数が動詞より低いことなどが、名詞の認識を容易にすると考えられる。今年度は、新たに4名の被験者を加えて追加調査を行ったが、こどもの名詞と動詞の使用には、母親などの言語入力がかなり影響を及ぼしていることが判明した。動詞優位のこどもでは、母親がこどもの名詞使用を助長する言語入力のFine Tuningを行わず、名詞優位のこどもでは名詞の使用をこどもが開始するとそれに合わせて名詞を多用する結果が得られた。
