项目摘要

サムエル記に関しては、メシア待望の成立との関係で思想史上非常に重要なテキストである「ナタン預言」(サムエル記下7章)を分析し、このテキストがかなり長い時間をかけ、4層から5層に及ぶ段階的編集を経て成立したものであることを解明した。特に、本来ダビデ時代のエルサレルム神殿建設の可否をめぐる原伝承が、後のソロモン時代に神殿建設者としてのソロモンの地位と行為を正当化するものに改訂され、さらに王国分裂後に、ダビデ王朝の全イスラエル的支配権を主張するものに変えられた後、最終的に捕囚時代の申命記史家によってほぼ現在の形にまとめられた可能性を確認した。歴代誌に関しては、底本であるサムエル記、列王記の記述を著者(たち)がどのように取捨選択、改変し、もしくはどのような付加を加えているかを検討し、歴代誌の歴史記述の特色として、主として以下の諸点を確認した。(1)民族としてのイスラエルの統一性と、その中でのユダの主導的地位の強調。(分裂後の北王国の正統性の否定)。(2)唯一の聖所としてのエルサレム神殿の正統性と、そこでの祭儀および聖職者の重要性の強調。(3)歴史を貫徹する応報原理の強調とその徹底化。ただし、歴代誌における応報原理は、底本の記述とは異なり、同世代内部で完結し、「親の因果が子に及ぶ」ことはない。(4)外部勢力とのあらゆる同盟政策や条約政策に対する否定的評価とヤハウェへの信頼に基づく中立・自律政策の強調。なお、二つの研究成果は、一部を聖書学研究所や北海道基督教学会大会で口頭発表し、また「古典学の再構築」研究成果概要報告に「ナタン預言(サムエル記下7章)の成立」として、また同研究成果報告に「歴史記述としての『歴代誌』」として概要の形で発表したが、本務大学での役職や、岩波書店で研究期間以前から進行中の旧約聖書諸文書の翻訳・付注(担当分は出エジプト記、レビ記、民数記)の作業に多大な時間をとられたため、残念ながら、研究期間内には本格的な論文の形で仕上げることができなかった。早急に論文化し、学術雑誌などに発表したいと思っている。
