The Effective Guidance for the Experience of the Care In University

1997年6月，新的教师执照法通过，根据该法律，试图获得小学或初中教师执照的人必须在特殊学校或福利设施体验7天的残疾人照顾。本研究的目的是探讨大学应该对学生实施什么样的指导，使他们的经历更有意义。在本研究中，我们进行了四项调查：(a)澄清大学生曾经有过哪些了解残疾的机会；(b)询问完成经历的学生他们对指导的要求；(c)调查接受学生的特殊学校和福利机构在大学里需要什么样的指导；(d)明确大学新生的最新情况。从(a)的结果中，我们发现大多数大学生了解残障的机会很少，这也印证了大学指导的重要性。此外，(b)和(c)的结果表明了实施指导的一些要点：使学生对他们的护理经历有明确的目的，并为他们提供适当的信息，以便他们在经历之前对自己的活动有具体的印象。另一方面，(d)的研究结果表明，在大多数大学中，定向工作做得不好。

In June of 1997, the new law on teacher's licenses was passed, and according to it, the people to try to get elementary or junior high school teacher's licenses are required to experience the care for the handicapped in special schools or welfare facilities for 7 days.The purpose of this study was to examine and discuss about what kind of guidance universities should implement for students to make their experiences more significant.In this study, we conducted four investigations : (a) to clarify what sort of opportunities to learn about handicaps university students have ever had, (b) to ask students who finished their experiences about their requests for the guidance, (c) to investigate what kind of instruction in university was required by the special schools and welfare facilities which accept students, (d) to make the latest situation of the orientation in universities clear.From the results of (a), we found that most of university students had poor opportunities to learn about the handicap, and this confirmed the importance of guidance in university. Furthermore, the outcomes of (b) and (c) indicated some important points in implementing guidance : to make students have definite purposes for their experiences of the care and to give them appropriate information in order that they may have concrete images about their own activities before their experiences. The findings of (d), on the other hand, showed the fact that in most of universities, the orientations were not done properly.
