Research on Contents and Feasible Possibilities of Minor High-Tech Technologies in Russia

This study is aimed to analyze the situation of science and technology in Russia, especially its feasibility to commercialize the potential of basic studies from the viewpoint of Japan. We have conducted field surveys three times in Moscow and Novosibirsk(West Siberia)in the grant-in-aid period for interviews and collecting related materiais.Our research results are following ;(a)Collecting and analyzing statistical materials for science and technology trade between Russia and other nations ;(b)Scrutinizing digests of articles on science and technology and published results of research and development, which have been edited by the infomation department of Siberian Branchof Russian Academy Science ;(c)Visiting International Science and Technology Center(Moscow), committing the conversion of military teclnologies to civilized ones through financial aids in research activities of CIS countries, and related government organizations and enterprises etc., which help us to understand the recent tendency of scientific works in Russia, relations with Japanese companies, contents of important research projects as global warming prevention projects.
